Happy New Year, beautiful people! I hope you’re staying cozy and sane in whatever corner of the world you’re reading this from. Here’s what’s going on with me: I finished a new play for Juilliard (my second out of the six plays I’ll write) called, the love of my life—it’s a time jumping play that spans 60 years about two boys from two different worlds kidnapped by the same person who forge a curious, tenuous bond that stays with them for the rest of their lives. It’s different from anything I’ve ever written before, and very, very new—but I’m excited to keep working on it, someday.
In the meantime, I’m gearing up for work sessions of burn for You and Tremolo this spring, which I’m so excited about. And I did this fun little interview with my pal Sophie McIntosh—a truly wonderful playwright and person who also runs a Substack where she interviews theater artists. Check mine out here!
Okay, more soon. Stay safe and radically hopeful and fight the good fight! Bye!
